A Letter to Ryle Kinacid

Forgiving is easy, but forgetting is not. Even if you try to forget, you're thinking about that thing the most.

Dear Ryle,

Let's just get on with the "naked truths," huh?

Well, you really messed up what you loved the most. I understand and see what trauma does to the finest people. I know you didn't mean it, that you've suffered enough, and that you don't know how to control that sudden anger, those overwhelming emotions. That's okay; whatever you've been through wasn't pleasant. Hell! It was the most awful!

You're not your mistakes, Ryle! You're an excellent person who made some of the worst mistakes of your life that cost you your love. I agree that your love was powerful.

But love isn't always enough. Mistakes can have long-lasting consequences, and sometimes it's impossible to undo them. That doesn't make you any less of an excellent person, but it does mean that you have to accept the consequences of your mistakes and move forward.

Mutual trust and respect hold the relationship together. Taking responsibility for your errors demonstrates strong character, encourages self-growth, and strengthens the bond with those you care about.

As for Lily, I believe she messed up too, she should have been transparent about her past, and she should have trusted you enough to have this conversation, but I thought jumping to conclusions about her and doing the unforgettable deed wasn't the prettiest thing to do.

She understood your trauma and forgave you every time, but after the child's birth, I guess that was the last straw. She didn't want to cause any further distress and decided to part ways. It was a difficult situation for everyone, and I understand why she chose to do what she did. Nevertheless, it was still a difficult decision to make.

You probably changed for the better, or you already did, since you possess a true soul and you accepted your mistakes. It was a hard lesson to learn, but it was a necessary one. You will be stronger for it, and the experience will serve as a reminder to be more aware of your actions in the future. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help if you need it.

It's not always about love but rather about patterns, bonding, and the foundation of a relationship. These patterns can help define who we are, and taking responsibility for our actions is important. Don't let fear hold you back from taking risks; don't be afraid to ask for help. Ultimately, the goal is to learn from our experiences and grow. Everyone has a unique soul, and that's why relationships are so important for self-growth. With the right person, you can learn and share valuable life lessons. It's about understanding and respecting each other's differences.

Though Atlas was just 15 years old, her young love for him was mature despite the fact that she was so young.

There will always be a place in her heart for you because she loves you so much.

Seeing someone you love pass away while you still love them is not beautiful. Even though they are gone, the memories of them will never leave us and will remain in our hearts forever. The love a person has for another is eternal, and the memories of the time spent together will always be cherished.

It's hard to react in a normal way if you are terribly triggered.

Ryle, I still believe in you, no matter what. There is no doubt you screwed up, but that doesn't mean you are a bad person!

You cried for your daughter's future when you let her go, and the love you had for her was lost. It's like someone throwing away a valuable possession in a desperate attempt to keep it safe; they know they will lose it in the short term, but they would rather lose it than risk it being taken away from them.

In spite of the fact that you may seem broken beyond repair, you are not.  As Pauline Seaport wrote, “You're not broken beyond repair; there is hope. There is a God who knows all the pain you endure and heals, protects, and rejuvenates you.”

I have faith in you. And I'd never doubt your love. My only hope is that you will love the right kind of person.

Do not let anyone tell you that you are not worthy of love. You deserve someone who loves you unconditionally and without judgment. Do not let go of your faith in yourself when it comes to finding the right love and being kind to it.

Just keep swimming, Lily!
