Book Review: VERITY

A spine-chilling novel where betrayal, lies, and deception comes easy to its characters.

5/5 thrill 🤯🤯🤯
4/5 suspense 🥶🥶🥶
2.5/5 smut 🌶️🌶️🌶️

This novel blew me away! The novel is a fast-paced, spine-chilling thriller with excellent suspense. Reading *SO BE IT* in VERITY gave me goosebumps, I tell you!

Will you write the total opposite of what you've lived in your autobiography just to clear your writing block? If that are all the lies, the one who reads it would be irked to think in the wrong direction. Is it worth writing it?

Depending on how you look at it, writers are either the easiest or the most difficult creatures to understand.
It's either they show the truth in the most beautiful lies, or they twist the lies so tightly that it's the only truth we can know. There is no middle ground; they can either be absolutely vile or completely honest! Maybe there is, too. Yes, this manipulation involves the cliff of the grey matter.
The fundamental impression the author must instill in the reader regarding the characters is one of trust. I was on edge because Verity did a great job with our shaky faith in the characters.

If the last letters are your bit of the truth, how will you convince the manuscript believers of that autobiography?

Colleen Hoover has a remarkable talent for portraying truths and lies, and it is incredible how she twists them into suspicious series.
I heartily suggest this book to anybody who enjoys suspense and chills!

WHICH ONE ARE YOU? TEAM LETTER OR TEAM MANUSCRIPT?
